The Museum of Delphic celebrations is situated in Angelos and Eva’s Sikelianos house. Angelos Sikelianos along with his wife Eva wanted to make the Delphic idea real: a mixture of the ancient theatrical tradition, the byzantine music and the local art in a framework of a festival which would take place in the holly place of Delphi and would be called “Delphic Celebrations”. The festival took place twice, in 1927 and in 1930. In the museum of Delphic celebrations which is today a property of the European Cultural Center of Delphi, there are many photographs from the events and the preparation, the costumes from the shows -many of which have been weaved by Eva Palmer Sikelianos herself in her renowned loom- and more objects, some of which include manuscripts of Angelos Sikelianos.
